Definition and Classification of Casting

The definition of casting: It is a molding method that pours liquid metal into a casting cavity that is suitable for the shape of the part. After it cools and solidifies, a metal part blank with a certain shape, size and performance is obtained.

Its products are precise, complex, close to the final shape of the part, and can be used directly without or with little processing. It is an advanced process of near-net-shape forming.
